Shipping kennel?

I need help on how to put a perch through a kennel.

What are you shipping? I have taken a dowel or premade screw type perch and simply drill a hole on either side about four inches or less (depending on bird and tail) and attach perch with wing nuts the normal way. If using a dowel you will have to buy the little double sided screws. wood screw on one side, machine screw (bolt) on other end called HANGER BOLTS
Hanger bolts at Bolt Depot
Put the wood end into the dowel and put it into the crate into the holes you drilled and then washers and wing nuts.
If the bird has a short tail like a grey then keep it close so his tail just touches 9he will use this for balance) of its a longer tailed bird a little higher but still close enough for the tail to touch. Flat wood is even better for balance but narrow enough they can wrap the feet around a bit.
