I never expected my eccy to be much of a talker. She was stone quite for ages!

She is now 1 year 2 months and she sais..
"Hello, How you doin, I love you, Peek-aboo, whooo, hop up, Stitch(dogs name), bad girl, outside, wait, down, sit down, Hey, Hello Keewii, UUhhh-ohhh, Bye bye, quick quick quick, wolf whistles and does the calling the dog whistle..

When you ask her to swing she will, and when you say "go have a shower", she will go to her bath dish and have her bath..:-)

She mutters a whole bunch of stuff under her breath but i have no idea what she is saying....

Ive got a link of her talking silly stuff...Ill have to get more video of her http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=9739415759

Cant wait till mine start talking. At the stage where I think I hear words, but not sure if its wishful thinking. They share a room with two scaley breasted lorrikeets who are good talkers and say all the time "hello hector" Im pretty sure I have heard both the ekkies say that in the last two days.

Booger is very vocal i think he will be a big talker, lexie chatters a lot but not as much as boogs.

My eclectus talks really well and he started really young. I never knew that he was talking until we relocated and had to share a room together for a few days. Oh boy, he talked all throughout the night. It was pretty funny then.

He says:

No,no,no!!
Cloverrrrr (his name)
Step Up
I love you
Hi
Helloooo
Hey Green Guy
Muaaw! (kissing)

And he can basically copy any new word that you introduce him to. They are very clever birds and they sound like Elmo to me.

whoops, I just tried to reply, but somehow failed. Here goes another try,

Maluku is a closet talker, but this morning from the top of the stairs I heard.
"Hi Little Monkey, Hello" I sometimes call him monkey when he swings from the top of his cage and climbs around.
He also say, "Savannah,No Down! Sit" to the puppy.

He whimpers, just like the puppy. (annoying! but cute :)

He also is occasionally caught, praising himself. "Step up, Good Boy!"

My boy Solomon is 7 1/2 months old and is really starting to pick up on things. he will say what you doing, god boy and several other things I can barely make out but he practices all the time under his breath. He also just started the wolf whistle. I am hoping his vocabulary will expand but if not he is still my baby!!1

never shuts up

Peter my Ece is 6yrs old this year. He is quite the chatter box. When he is scared he says "its alright mommy comed" we talk german to our birds and they talk back in german or english. When peter wants me to sing to him he bangs with his beak on my teeth then puts his ear to my mouth. Several songs he absolutely loves..its not my voice but the rythm. He yells out to our dog by his name and tells him to come to him. When he puts himself to sleep he chatters away a few sentences and makes these weird noises he picked up from me. The occasional swear word comes out if my husband and i talk a little to loud. Then he tells us to be quiet in german. I love it the best when he comes up to my mouth lets of a big kiss noise and says " oh mummy i love you"
