Question Vest making-plucking SI female

Ok everyone as you all probably know or read my other post
I have a very sweet sweet sweet eclectus named chille.

She is 8 years old and has been a plucker for quiet sometime.
Although she is covered in pin feathers now.
I didn’t think she would have so many pins , usually after an extended time of plucking they generally damage the feather follicle and feathers don’t come back. I have looked around for vest with no luck.

So now i would like to make one, yes I have sewing ability's lol
I want to know which fabric to use? And what to do.

I was told that she was plucked by a cage mate and plcuked herself as well
and then when pins would come in the discomfort would cause her to pull them out. She is misted daily and eats aloe leaves as well.
I figured if so is restricted from plucking the pins out as of discomfort after they grown in she may still pluck but she might also leave them alone more.

Her life style diet cage ECT has changed for the better.
Before she was not cages if she didn’t want to be and was left to sleep where ever under a sofa under a cage ECT. That is not healthy.
For her safety and protection she is only caged when I go to work but is let out an hour later when my fiancé comes home. And when we go to bed.
I feel she has a better sense of security and has less stress.

So if anyone has pictures references idea it would be greatly appreciated from the both of us. Like I said she is beautiful without feather but id love to give the chance to have feathers again. to what she does after is her choice.
Sometimes bad habits die hard. Thanks everyone!!

Here's a photo of a vest I made for my Blue and Gold macaw. I don't use any patterns, I just eyeball it. I added fringes to keep her entertained. It did not keep her from plucking, but it does keep her warm in the winter.

Here's another vest for winter. Its lined with polar fleece and I embroidered her name on it. The second photo is of my Ekkie last year. She plucks seasonally. She has been rehomed with Basketbagley.

I have tried everything for Tuki...female Eclectus. Pluck No More didn't do it...thought it helped at first, but it didn't work long term. She has been plucking 10 years, year round. Everything is researched and perfect...food, cage, sleep, love and attention, toys. Has anyone forund a sloution? Do the vests work? I don't sew...does anyone sell them? How do you keep them from untying the strings? Anne
