Talking new mommy of eclectus parrrot

Hi!
I was just blessed with a 3 mo okd female eclectus and she is so wonderful.
My teil' and I are both so excited to have her in the family that we just had to tell everyone about it.
Any information or helpful advise that anyone can give would be deeply apprieciated.
I can only find one book about them and it reraly doesn't have much information about them and anything anybody tell me about them I would be thankful for.
WISH ME LUCK !!!!!!!!

Congratulations! I think Ekkies are one of the most beautiful parrots. I'd love to see pictures! And what is her name?

she reminds me of Lucille Ball. She just has that funny attitude about things, I have to take a bite of something before she will try it and my husband has a cow! I can't get over how easy it is to teach her things but we have our lessons late at night on the bed and she enjoys that, I was told I could potty train her but I don't think I want to attempt that yet .

Congrats on the new baby! I'm sure jimpearce will be along shortly. He has a female ekkie as well. As for resources, landofvos.com and ekkiechat should keep you busy for a while! Best of luck with Lucy!
