Pogo's new home - look what he did :eek:

OMG, ok so I go down to the garage today to get PoGo's cage, right, and I get it upstairs and I clean it and what not, put the towel and what not in the bottom all the toys, food etc..... and put him in it. Now I only put the cage up, I did not put the playstand on. Here is a pic of him and his cage, front and side. The cage is 32x24?x?high.

so he is in there, and we go to dinner, tonight is our night out lol. And we come home to this:

I about died. Notice my husband putting the top on in the first pic? We figured we could leave the top off, he won't get out yet, I did not even get his perch in there yet, I had to wash it and it is drying. Its a rope perch. And we come home and sure as anything, he climbed the cage and was perch on top. OMG I was so afraid he would fall, he is only 8.5 wks old and not totally sturdy yet. Well I guess he learned to be lol. I about died

LOL, that reminds me of when I first got Turk (my greyhound). I put him in a crate for the first time when I went to work, and when I came home, he greeted me at the door!! I walked in and asked him what else he wrecked...and nothing else was. I'm guessing he got so exhausted breaking out of the crate that when he was done he just went and had a nap on the couch, evidenced by all the hair left there!

I hope you have a lock for the door!!!! I bet he will probably figure out how to get out even after the top is on and the doors are closed. I think you have one very determined and brave little guy!!!!!!!

WOW - he is sure something!!! LOL I can only picture walking in and seeing that - I am glad that he and you are both ok!!!

you could not even imagine my face lol. The cage is 32 wide x 22 deep and 32 high

He climbed 32 INCHES in the air and then walked to the back of the cage lik that. Cause where he was, the bars are verticle, I don't think he climbed that part. I think he climbed up the horizontal bars on the SIDE of the cage.

I will put a padlock on the door if I have to lol. The lock that is on it I don't think he can get open, however I didn't think he could climb and perch yet either, boy did he surprise the heck out of me, lol

lol gee thanks. but I bet I will. He is a total lovebug for now though :)
