Baby Eclectus

We just recently bought a 12/13 week male Eclectus and this is our 1st eclectus and he seems very big.
What should be the average size and weight of my baby eclectus?
Anyone got a picture of their Ekkie around the same age as mine?

Also whenever he sees us or when we talk to him he squawks a little. We heard him say a word but we didnt quite catch it.. was amazing to hear him say a word.
Also he barked like a small dog when my GF was going to grab him. He's very tame and loves to fly to my shoulder and just hang around for a while.

And all this on the 1st day with us. We were trying to leave him alone to familiarize with his new home and us but he's the one who comes to us.

I will post pics soon

Thanks

What does your boy weigh in at? Do you know what sub species he is as there is a great difference in weight between them. 12/13 weeks old seems a bit young to be weaned already. Sophie was 18 weeks before she weaned.

I just got a male Eclectus about a week ago, and was surprised at his size at such a young age, as I am a first time Ekkie owner as well. He was 14 weeks old when I got him and he weighed 374 grams. I'm not sure of his exact height but he's pretty big. The person I bought him from told me that he wouldn't grow much bigger though, only gain weight because he wasn't weaned yet. I do think he's grown since I've gotten him though! Oh, and he used to squawk at me whenever I walked by too, but he stopped and now he tries to talk instead. Here is a picture of him, just about a week older than yours.

Here's some pics
I'm not sure which sub-species but I'm in Australia if that helps...

I tried measuring his weight but our scale wont recognise his weight

if I were to make a guess I wouls say he is a Solomon Island Eclectus. He looks quite a bit smaller then my Sophie who is an Aru Red Sided Eclectus. She weighs around 450g.

I asked the breeder and he told me its a Red-sided but I thought the red-sided ones dont have yellow/orange on the tail according to Land of Vos
My eclectus have a bright orange colour on the tip of the tail.

Be aware that some breeders will tell you that it is Red sided. When in fact it could be a hybrid.
