Turtle is home!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

My big boy has finally weaned. We need an earplug because he is contantly crying out for food even when he is eating so much already! He is not as jumpy as we thought but needs time to trust us to touch him. He ate many things for his first dinner home so it made me very proud.
We covered him around 9pm and we were in the kitchen cleaning up when we heard something like a woman talking....only we realized it was Turtle mumbling stuff! He is already trying to talk..and I think he said hello lol]

Anyway, here is my beautiful boy. Will get better pictures when he gets more comfortable in his home.

He is beautiful. They are such a vibrant color green. I don't know if I could choose which Eclectus I would take, the male or the female, because both are so beautiful.

He's precious!!! Congratulations on your new arrival! Yay for you and Turtle! I am so excited for you guys. Cyrano has only been home for 4 days, so it looks like we get to experience new Ekkie parronthood together. :) Can't wait to see more pics!

Well I must admit that I never heard of Entourage or Master of Disguise....should I feel shameful? hehe

Danielle, it is good to know someone who is right there with me! I am a worry wart and called my breeder because Turtle is being a big big baby. Would love to see pics of Cyrano!

He ate really great this morning but wants nothing for dinner... Also, the tip of his upper beak was slightly bleeding..I don't know where from. I put some aloe gel on it and it is fine now. However, I am taking him back to my breeder tomorrow to make sure he is well.

I cuddled him for a good half an hour and he slept in my arms. So precious. Here is a crappy picture from my phone.



I must say he is a joy already. We are a little nervous with him because we don't know him....he's not like a green cheek where ya just manipulate the guy LOL....I said that just for phrasing purposes...

Anyway, we're glad to finally have a closing of our Ani-Fam! He is surely a dream bird!
