baby Monet update

just a short note to say Monet is doing much better. Her activity level has increased and she is showing some spunk, charging around her heated aquarium attacking stuff. She showed some interest in mash today but thought she should kill it rather than eat it. I have some good support from Eckie breeders that set me straight thankfully on proper temp and feeding. I'll post pictures from time to time to this thread. Her development is at around 5 weeks though she is supposed to be 7.5 weeks. But she will catch up. She likes chewing on my finger and greets me with happy squawks when she sees me but I try to keep her where she will be warm and catch up to be a healthy happy baby. Would much rather be carrying her around with me but will have to be patient that time will come.

I've asked a mod to close this thread. I do not want anyone to construe updates on Monet to be viewed as promoting bringing home unweaned babies. It is a very dangerous practice. She is doing well, however it was very fortunate I found help because it could have easily gone the other way. I will not be posting future updates but will from time to time post pictures when she's older. thanks for understanding.
