I'm by no means a breeder, but if they've been sitting on the same clutch of eggs for six months (!!!)... it's pretty safe to assume they are infertile. Parrot eggs do not take that long to hatch. Toss 'em (they are surely rotten by now and could be the source of bacteria at this point)

I have a couple questions. Is the male sexually mature? Have you seen them breed?
It's not unusual for pairs to have a couple batches of clear eggs before they produce viable chicks. Most people pull the eggs at 30 days if they are clear. There are many places online that show what a developing chick looks like when you candle with a flashlight. Just do a google search on candling eggs. How many times has the hen laid in 6 months? P.S. Just read your other post in the Discussion forum and saw more info. Your male is mature, so maybe they have not bred. The second batch my hen laid had one clear and one viable chick, but that chick did not pip out. I'm not sure why. After 30 days I removed the eggs and candled just to be sure. The one egg was definitely clear, but the other showed something. I could not hear or feel any movement inside the egg so I figured there was not a live chick. I very carefully picked a small hole in the egg and took out a small piece of shell. There was a fully formed but dead chick inside. I removed the eggs and the nest box. A few months later they began breeding again and I replaced the nest box. The hen immediately began working in the box and within 2 weeks had laid 2 more eggs, 3 full days apart. This time both were fertile and hatched out, the first on the 28th day and the second on the 32 day, which was 28 days after that egg was laid. If she has been sitting on the same 3 eggs for 6 months, like everyone says, toss the eggs.
