Oh my gosh, I wasn't paying attention to what species the pics were of so when I saw a baby boy ekkie, I nearly spit out my drink. I just love those boys. You're girl is beautiful too. Someday. I WILL have another ekkie. I love, love, love them. I wonder though how Echo would feel to have a little brother? The girls scare him. He's a big momma's boy so I worry that he'll feel he's getting replaced.
I, also, think it's great that you let the parents raise them. I feel it's really important that they get the undivided attention that their parents can provide. Plus, I think they should know they are birds. I think they are more content as adults that way. Thank you for sharing!!!!
