Echo today

Here is a picture of my sweet little green man being nosy. Earlier he was feeding Jeb. I wonder if he thinks Jeb is a baby Echo? He hates female ekkies. He prefers the company of other green birds. No wonder people thought males and females were two different species at first!

I know! He's amazing. He'd love for you to give him smooches. He loves the ladies! Kisses are his favorite interaction.
Jeb has both legs badly splayed. They stick out on either side. He cannot stand up or perch. If you go to the conure page, you will find a few pics of him.

It's kind of unusual for them to stay very hand on and allow smooches isn't it? He sounds very special. I couldnt find a picture of Jeb but he must be hard to take care of, he's lucky to have found a good home with you.

He's not touchy-feely like he was as a baby. As a baby he required lots of my time. Now he's more into nurturing. He kisses me and says I love you when I nap. He feeds and preens Blossom too. I don't think he'll ever outgrow kisses. He started saying give Echo kisses rather than give me kisses after we got Gabe so I understood who I was supposed to kiss. lol He's very bossy and nosy.
Since Monet is a female she'll probably maintain more of the physical neediness. The females are used to the males waiting on them 24/7. If you watch you tube videos, you may notice how the females tend to be in charge. Female ekkies are the only birds Echo won't try to control. If he even hears one on the computer, he screams and shakes. He tries to talk with the males.
Here are a couple links to Jeb jenday
I was bad

awww Jeb look very cuddly and sweet. You've got a great flock! Can't believe Echo shakes when he hears a girl Eckie, well, maybe I can. Already Monet is very controlling. She will complain and whine endlessly like a poor baby when she's not getting doted on. Most of the time I call her poor baby because she plays it up for cuddles. She gets full of attitude too. Even feeding her is hard because she needs to be in charge of everything.

As long as the boys stay nurturing and like kisses the touchy feely stuff isn't all that. I don't know what it is about the green boys that makes them so lovable. Such a difference in Male and Female Eckies. Gotta love 'em both.
