fruit

Do your ekkies eat alot of fruit??

Because Chilli doesnt seem overly fond of it... We give both birds a bowl of fruit salad each morning and at the end of the day mango has eaten almost all of his and chillis has hardly been touched.

He loves munching on veggies and sprouts, so im wondering if we should replace his fruit salad with a bowl of veggies? Or make more veggie kababs?
We do give him left over veggies when we make our dinner.

Im just wondering could this be a reason as to why he screams so much - cause hes hungry? But doesnt want to eat fruit.
He does have pellets in his cage too which he probably chooses over his fresh food.

He loves passion fruit and pomegrante.. which he will eat every time. lol

Maybe hes just not a big eater? lol
Or could it be the way we cut up his fruit?

Lucky! Getting Dewey to eat his veggies is a pain, he much prefers the sweet stuff. I make a big bowl of veggies in the morning and one fruit. Why not include both?

Dewey loves his passion fruit too, you may want to see if anyone near you sells jelly melons, Dewey loves them:

I dont know, the ones I bought from the grocery store were imported from New Zealand, I just thought of them because they are similar to passion fruits.

woo hoo!!! Sunny California!!
Sophie tends to not eat fruit if it is mixed in with anything. I give her a slice of apple or the sort and she eats it up. For some reason she doesn't seem to like mango or papaya. Go figure eh?

Sometimes there is no reasoning why they do what they do. Dewey doesnt like papaya either except for the seeds, those he loves.

Savanah LOVES passion fruit, pomergranate and kiwi fruit, But tends to not eat much papaya and she really isnt too keen on CORN!!! Wat tha?? I thought ALL eccie's loved corn???

I will keep trying with it, I dont put pasion fruit or pomergranate ina mix of fruit, Casue I know she will just pick that out of the mix and leave the rest!! So thats a treat for her to get that, Wich is what Im trying to get my hubby to feed her(FOR SPECIAL TREAT TIME)
