Did the aggression happen before or after Regan came into your life? Is there anything else that could be setting him off? If you remove Regan from the room, how does he act?

Something changed. He's been so sweet to you and he's so young (not even 6 months yet, is he?) Does he beak when you try to move him, or some other time?

He's lunging at me and he's uptight all the time now. I think she makes him totally uptight. No special circumstances at all, I'll pick him up and for a second he's find and then he starts "biting" on me, but he never really bites hard, just more like a warning that he's pissed off. I've been trying to give him more attention, I even had him sit on the couch and watch TV with me for a few hours last night. I think they need separation, she's too nutty for him. He gets nervous so easily, on 2 separate occasions he flew into the sliding glass doors because he got spooked when my nephew walked into the room.

You can try separate out of cage time and see if he prefers that. You can also try holding him without any other touching. "Usually" when they lunge, they are telling you to back off. It seems odd to me that he would lunge at you once you are already holding him, unless you are trying to touch him and he doesn't want you to. They have few ways to let us know their wishes, other than using their beak.
I would not keep them in separate rooms because that will take you away from one of them when you are with the other bird. I find my birds like to watch me interact with one another. They don't necessarily want to be in on it... just want to know what's going on.
