Advice please

When I got Ruby she was semi tame, the breeder wasn't keen on taming any of his birds. She would lunge at me and when she bit, boy did she bite. As most know Eclectus females can be a bit on the unpredictable side but through some hard work and plenty of patience she came around. At one point we could sit on the sofa and she would let me rub the back of her neck, which is something I'd never been able to do.

As quick as she changed, she's changed back. I literally can't put my hand in the cage but she's swiping at it, I can't get her to step up unless she's outside it and even then she's no longer on me till she flies off. I have had the odd kiss and she's been given a treat for it but I'm now at my wits end. She's given James (my husband) a cracker of a bite the other day, now she adores james and would never normally do that to him and today she bit me again.

She was 2 in January and can be such a lovely bird but I just can't trust her.

Any help/advice/parrot stew recipes gratefully accepted.
