Ingredients

1. eggs
2. whole grain alphabet noodles
3. whole grain rice
4. mashed sweet potato
5. frozen veggies – I buy like three bags of different frozen veggies and mix them together

How I made it.

I made the whole grain rice and noodles first, then slightly cooked the veggies. Made the sweet potato’s and mashed them. Put it ALL in a wock and added two eggs. And that is it, very easy, very healthy and nutritious. My babies loved it.

Boo's a willing pellet eater, although I do offer him a tiny bit of seed in the morning.

Alita, my BW Pi, on the other hand...*sigh* Seems like it's the same old story as it was with Boo. Breeder claims to feed a well-balanced diet of fresh foods and stuff, and I'm sure they offered a variety, but then reality is quite different. When she arrived she had almost nothing but a huge pile of seeds in her travel carrier and a slice or two of apple...so guess what she likes to eat to the exception of all else? Seeds! :52:

So, yeah, I've been working with her as I had to work with Boo. :laugh: During this conversion process, I've been feeding her the seed mix I'd had Boo on, Higgins Yucatan blend. I'd like to move her onto a more size-appropriate mix as I continue to introduce other foods, and I've been looking between Higgins Tikal and Celestial blends. No, I won't be buying them there, but this site lists the ingredients whereas petfooddirect.com does not.

My question is which would be "better" (with the full understanding that seed diets as a base are not the best by any stretch of the imagination :p ) to feed? Both seem like decent mixes, but I'd rather have the "better" one. ^^
