anyways since then he's been acting a little strange I don't want to overreact so I want opinions.

when I got home for lunch from college he wasn't his normal self. Normally he would be screaming for me all excited but I just found him on a perch in the far back of his cage acting like he couldn't care less. He's eating and drinking, I picked him up and he still plays with my glasses and chirps. His poop is still good (no blood). after the play time he wanted to go back to his cage so I brought him back, he went in ate, drank and sat himself back in the same spot and doesn't want to come back out.

I'm taking into consideration that he might of just hurt himself, I know flying into windows can be serious so I wanted other opinions on things that I should check for.

I have had Sammy for a little over a year now. This bird was abused by the former owner to the point that even my vet didnt think I could get it to do any thing but sit in the cage. But then came Dexter, Sammy has seen how Dexter gets all kinds of attention, cuddles, scratches, ect. Sammy has even let me feed warm oatmeal with applesauce in it to him. This is such a break through.:14:

these are a few of the sounds that I am hearing from BOTH Mo and Paya,

and Oh god I think that the lovie has learned their "contact call" good grief, he doesn't use it as a contact call, just part of his stuff:001_unsure:

Paya was a short notice re-home, I REALLY should be carful when I say things like (" I'd take another grey in a heart beat") LOL....

VERY sweet girl and she's HUGE!!!!!!!, she's not Dna'd her last owner jsut "thought" she was a girl:001_unsure: meh what ever, she DWARFS Mo,, in comparison he looks like a small conure!!!!!....

LMAO, woudln't it be funny if Mo was a girl and Paya a boy?> talk about gender issues!

So far she's been a little shy, but reluctantly stepped up to be caged for bed, and come out for breakfast, she's talking, grumbling and coughing and clearing her throat like an old man!!!

All that aside whe REALLY REALLY LOVED breakfast, fresh banana, papaya, romaine lettuce fresh OJ and my version of scrambled birdie eggs.

Here's a pic of her retrieving her fallen produce!

I was told she burps, I think this will go nicely with Mo's flatulence sounds!

hmmm, how many birds does own technically have to share a home with before one is considered MBS?

My Baby Girl. She is a plucker. Came to me through the most wonderful person. I met the owners of her. It was like fate. We were ment to have her. She came right to me. She is the most social Bird I have ever met. Loves everyone. (but my mother) They wanted to see her Happy again. So they found her a new home. With me. I was so thrilled to have her. Now to tackle the plucking issues. First things first. Get her settled into her new home. She was vet checked before she came here. With a clean bill of health. I knew that this problem was not medical. So now to change her behavior. I examined her diet carefully. All bad stuff. Lots of salt and dairy. So we got rid of that. I got her on ACV. And Nekton. And of course a better diet. But that was not doing the trick. So I decided to entertain her with toys and a snugglie that my most wonderful friend made for her. She was not allowed to have toys in her other home cause they made a mess… ARGH! So well anyway. She is my spoiled girl. She took awhile to get used to them and is now playing. So quarantine is over. Even tho she had a clean bill of health I decided to do what was right and follow the rules. So after that was done I moved her into the bird’s room. Well she has been night and Day. She is playing, she is not plucking so much now. And that has a lot to do with the snugglie. She now attacks that sucker instead of herself. So yahoo. She is covered in Fluff for the first time in 2 years. And seems to be happy. But I know this is a learned behavior and it will be overcome. Just more time is needed.
Here a photo of the snugglie

And my girl

When she came to me she was NAKED! On the chest, neck, and back. Look at my girl now! :001_smile:

I need to get a more current photo of her so you can see all the new fluff.
