First, I'd like to say that while I don't post much at all, I do come to BB quite often and get pointers for toys, food, treats, and DIY creations and have been inspired my so many of you. I am owned by a wonderfully sweet b/g macaw named Cosmo, an ornery yellow napped Amazon-Roy, 2 bratty dogs-Edison-a pit mix, Chuckles-a pit bull, and 4 mischievous ratties-Siegfried, Roy, Adam and Steve. I enjoy the stories of people's experiences with their fids-and love the photos posted. I am fortunate to have found a group of people dedicated to their birds and animals and wish more people could find such great support for their animals. The question I have is that I bought a cardboard scratching block for cats and thought it would be great as a shredding toy for the two fids-there isn't anything inside-just cardboard-anybody have any thoughts?:ywink:
Thanks so much.

I bought some mini brown paper treat bags to make into foraging toys by filling with shredded paper bedding, large beads, and treats. It says they are made of "100% post-consumer recycled paper."
Thanks!
