I (of course) have to work this weekend, and couldn't find ANYONE to trade with. *Sigh* It seems to happen every few years, but I've not run into not being able to trade before. Sooo... I will be out this afternoon being busy getting things. We're going out to dinner tonight... I plan on taking her to her favorite, Olive Garden. Since I have to work... and there's no way she's not upset over that...a trip to the jewelry store is in order.

Also, every year I get her a dozen roses, half red, half white. I had the same color/type delivered to the hotel in Vermont before we got there. It was one of the few surprises I've ever been able to pull off in nine years. Noo... I don't drop hints or anything else...she just knows me that well. :blushing: I'm thinking of going a little more out on the jewelry since I have to work this weekend.

I know you'll read this eventually, so.... I'm elated you came into my life. Thank you for being strong enough to marry me, and crazy enough to stay with me through it all for all these years. I'm honored to be able to say you're my wife. Happy Anniversary, love.

I didn't get to see my hair for a long time. She finally turned me where I could see in the mirror. I wanted my hair long enough to curl under my chin. It was at my chin and my back was longer.... my mom comes in and looks at my hair... the lady was still cutting more off... my mom tells her to stop cutting.....:angry2: the hair lady askes someone else to help her. apperantly she had never done a bob... I thought those were easy... So the other lady kept saying sorry over and over... I guess it was worse than it looked. She tried to fix it but it is so much shorted than I normally have it....

My mom had already paid when she got her hair cut. So I didn't even get it for free. They told me next time I would get a free cut... I am leaving friday. It will take at least 2 months for my hair to get long enough for me to get it cut again....

I think it's a flu since it falls under the right catagory. I have: feelings of cold, uncontrollable shivering, catarrah in the throat, unholy coughing which I thought was just an effort to remove the catarrah (it's a 'throaty' cough, not a chesty one. Still hurts!) and the worst one of all, sore joints

Anyone got any tips? Today at 3pm I was bending down to lift my old dog onto the bed and Raven (the 18 mos pup) came flying down the hall and jumped again hitting me in the face. Blood spouted all over the comforter. I ran to the bathroom and blood filled the sink. I put a towel on my face and called Mike. He was just 5 minutes away. We went to the hospital, 5 hour wait! So we went to Patient First. I was seen in 10 mins. I had a 3 inch blood clot in my nose that they removed so that a fresh one could form. All my blood vessels were burst in my nose. Xrays were negative. I had a 1 inch gash on the bridge of my nose. The doc numbed it up and cleaned all the dog hair out and irrigated it. Then I got several stitches. She said the flesh was actually pulled away from the bone. Pain meds and antibiotics given. Doc said I would have a scar and would probably be black and blue.
I did not punish Raven as she does not know that she did wrong. But she will now learn to sit at my bedroom dor before being aloud to enter. She is so super fast.

I'm not... typical... when it comes to wanting a traditional wedding. We're leaning towards having our ceremony in Big Bear, California, in the San Bernardino National Forest.

I've been perusing the internet for an assortment of wedding ideas and ways to save money as well as personalize the event. We both want it to be about our relationship, not about the Event. One idea I came across this morning is flower bouquet alternatives. Traditional ones cost a lot and are enjoyed for maybe a week. And while I love flowers, and will have vases of them around (instead of white toile... ug... toile..), they aren't really WHO I am.

Birds are.

So I'm thinking of making a bouquet using feathers. Kit is a little small to provide me with enough, especially since she'll only have one molt before our wedding (most likely).

So, since it IS molting season, if any of you could set aside some fallen feathers for me, I'd LOVE to incorporate your parrots into my bouquet! :lol:
