    Bird talking to his light

Ok, I got the fids lights put up yesterday. When I turned Bonitas light on she just stared at it then at me & said "QUE PASO, BONITA" WHich is What's going on in spanish. It was cute. Then she went to take a bath in her water bowl. Romeo on the other hand, he just turned his head from side to side & stared at the light for the few minutes time & then started talking to it! He carried on a conversation with that light for hours. I have the lights on the timer & this morning when Bonitas light come on it kinda startled her & she yelled the same thing, What's going on & looked at me. I explain to her whats going on then she goes about her business. Crystal

"QUE PASO, BONITA" - What a cutie - but you already knew that!
Hope the light helps & they get used to it.
Do you have a photo? For those who want to so the same thing.

I have an Ott Lamp[FS] for my painting & Laker's cage is beside me when I paint - hope he's getting enough rays. I'm thinking of getting a table-top version for him, as the season darkens & his outside time is seriously reduced.

I purchased 2 Full Spec Lights from WindyCityParrots.com but then found the ones I just posted I like the bigger ones better. Well, I received the smaller ones today & I can't get my money back. I paid $69 a piece for them shipping included. If you want them or one of them I'll take less. Here is the link so you can see a pic & what not. Crystal

How adorable is that! What was Romeo saying to the light? Macaw words and mumbling or any english words? I am absolutely in love with your little severe and it is good to hear that the lights are a hit! I'm definantly going to have to head over to Home Depot when I get the cage and everything set up. I need to buy an air purifier anyway.

He just turned 5 months & doesn't have alot of words yet so it was mostly babble. He did however tell the light hello & step-up. He's a big baby and is so upset when I go to work. He makes me feel so bad. He goes back & forth on the bottom of the cage saying "Heeelllooo Heeelllooo, step-up step-up. He drags the hello out & sounds like he's dying. It kills me to leave my BABY.
