Yes she has. But my breeder Mary reports that they are both imitating the cadence of words she uses a lot. And mumbling a bunch! They are both very into trying to communicate so that is exciting!
Oh my god, Einstein is ADORABLE! I love greys when they are babies (well, I love them at any age) when they have those black baby eyes. That towel picture is absolutely precious! Congrats on your new baby's 'first steps'

Congrats! Before you know it, he'll be into everything at the breeder's--and then your--house :-). Ceilidh just got his first "haircut" this afternoon. 3 feathers on each side. He can still fly, but not nearly as much lift as before. It needed to be done to keep him out of trouble, but MAN was it hard to make that decision! Are you keeping Einstein flighted?

In the end, only kindness matters.
I believe that we will have him clipped to start with, so that he is more dependant on us and learns the house and surroundings and then as he ages I may let him be flighted but for now I plan to keep him clipped more because I am nervous about him being injured or getting away. We plan to take him with us whenever we can and I don't want to risk him flying away! It is a difficult decision because I would like to have him flighted, because he is a bord and I think birds need to fly, but when we will be out and about i feel like I need to do what is best for his safety! Sorry this is so wordy but it is a difficult decision!

How exciting! It's the most important event for a baby bird, I just love watching them fledge!
