What is Bird a palooza?
Yesterday, on my trip to Albany to visit with my folks, I stopped in
at the Rensellaer Bird Store to get Jazz a toy for being such a good bird on the trip. (it is 2 3/4 hrs, and the last time we went up he yelled for most of it) I added foam under his travel cage this time and it seemed to deaden the vibrations and not agitate him so much.
I walked into the store and there was a man in clerical garb with a beautiful
baby grey on his shoulder. TOM & BING! Bing is a stunner with those big, dark baby eyes...I love that grey face, they are so beautiful.! AND he has all
these little red freckles! cute ! cute! cute! .
He was sitting so happily on Tom's shoulder it made me smile. I saw the cage choices, tough decision but all of them were good choices, and Bing is going to be out of the cage most of the time any way.
It is so fun putting a face to the voice and meeting the fid. When you meet
a board member it is like seeing a friend, not a new acquaintance.
My husband and I are planning on attending Birdapalooza this fall it would be great to see any east coast members ( or west coast if they could travel
all that way for an "avian event" )
Anyway, just wanted to tell you all I met Tom & Bing (did I mention how cute Bing is?)
As you can see, new keyboard came, I can now type "Jazz" and "keyboard"
without you all thinking I am under the influence!![]()

Wow, I wish I could go to the parrotpalooza! That sounds so exciting!! Now only if we had more things like that in Minnesota...
That's great how you got to see Bing again! It's only a matter of time until he comes home! :D
