Birds and Planes
I just found out that I am PCSing to VA in about two weeks. Can I take my birds on the plane with me. Not sure how the air pressure things holds up?

You would be able to take your birds with you on the plain, however the air pressure may bother them. How long will you be staying in VA???

Not sure about this one. You need to find out if they have to pass through quarantine. Since you're coming from a state not in the lower 49, they may have to. Ask your vet and your airlines.

You only quarantine coming here.....can't find anything that says I can't fly with them. I'll be in VA for 2 years

So long as you can put them in one carrier, you should be able tofly with them. You are only allowed a hand-bag and one carry-on for most air lines. Check your luggage and get an air-line approved carrier of sufficient size for two tiels for the flight.
As for quarrantine, I am not sure that they would have to be quarrantined coming from Hawaii. Most military members with dogs and cats no longer need to quarrantine their animals. Check with your travel officer to see what the skinny is regarding avian companions. Which base in VA are you PCSing to? Good luck!
