Frusterated

my bird is impossible to train i swear i have tried spending time talking to it spending time holding it and just letting it run around to know the surrondings. its a parakeet and it still hates me what do i do?


ive had him for 6 months

It takes time and patience to tame birds down. Not all tame in a matter of a few seconds. In truth, it may take weeks, months, or even years to gain a birds trust!

How often do you handle your budgie, and for what periods of time throughout the day? How do you handle him as well? Maybe there is something that your not doing or something that you might be doing wrong?
