extremely frustrated
I know noone here is a vet but I know some of you are pretty knowledgable in disease. I have 2 birds here with respiratory symptoms, one who I've had for 3 years and has never been sick before was nebulized last week because she was having trouble breathing(tail bobbing, wheezing, coughing, clicking and sneezing) although she has gotten better with the Baytril she still has a clear discharge so does the amazon and both are still sneezing. CBC came back normal, culture came back fine, xrays are fine, psittacosis negative. The only tests I'm still waiting on now are the Asper and a 2nd psittacosis test which should be back any day now but she has also been on Diflucan for the last week and is still having the discharge. The amazon was also on Baytril and clavamox and is still having it. With such a range of antibiotics between the 2 of them I would think at least one would be geting better. Does anyone have any idea of what else could be going on here? I thought for sure the cultures would show something but nothing came up. The top diagnosis right now is Asper because my A/C had broken and wasn't working properly but with the normal WBC and xrays I'm just not too sure. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you Leah
