'tiel treats

Hi

Ive been reading on what a tiel's healthy diet should be.. but what do tiel's consider especially delicious?

ive had Astro for less than a week but I already know he looooves neck scratches.. he likes it more on his right side.. but what about food treats so i can start to train him with things other than step up.

is step up the only real main one necessary for a tame bird?

As far as taming, it depends on what you consider tame. As far as some things that you can teach him besides step up, would be step down, come (either walking or flying), potty train, etc.

Food treats you might look into safflower or sunflower seeds as treats.... but other than that tiels seem to enjoy leafy green foods, and anything that you are eating (if he's that tame-socialable).
