Another mating question....

For each egg to be fertile, do the parents have to mate prior of laying an egg. Or is 2 mating "sessions" enough for a fertile clutch.

Mating only twice probably is not enough for a fertile clutch, though it is said that females can keep the males sperm in their body for up to two weeks before laying eggs (since the females can choose when to lay and how many eggs to lay).
