Try not to type in all upper-case please, it's considered shouting on the internet...

If the birds have shade, and a way to cool off (a large shallow dish or bird bath - or even a sprinkler system that turns on when it gets too hot) would help ensure that the birds will be able to adjust to the weather outside easier. You don't want to put the birds outside during the winter unless you don't get any frosts or cold temperatures so that they have time to adjust over a period of months to the changing weather.

I don't know much about lady gouldians, though would suspect that they would do fine with canaries... maybe someone else will come along soon and help you out more specifically!

Best not to house Lovebirds with canaries or finches or with anything else actually......Luvs can be lil devils.

IMO & IME, Gouldians with canaries is ok IF NOT BREEDING either in same flight/aviary and flight is big enough for the # of birds you have in there. I suggest maybe only keeping male Goulds in with female canaries.

Have plenty of shade and fresh water always for the birds when temps. get high and watch for labored breathing/panting. If that occurs then ya have to make the habitat cooler somehow.
