Hi, I have had my male sun conure, Jello, for a year now. He is only one and a half years old now. Two days ago I got an African Grey and another Sun Conure. I am not going to risk introducing the Grey to either of the Suns, but how do I show the Suns to eachother?
Jello tries to bite the new Sun Conure when I put them near eachother, but the new Sun Conure seems to like him. They both preen eachothers tail feathers when that is all they can reach. Jello hates the other Suns face though. Both of the suns are very sweet and hand fed. What do I do? |

Keep them in separate cages near eachother, show Jello that you still love him first and foremost over the intruder, and allow supervised out of cage time. They may or may not get along over time.

Very similar circumstance for me too. We're going on six weeks and conure#1wants to make nice but conure#2 isn't having it.The only thing I would add is try to bring them together in a neutral place.
