[Flappuccino]

Hi,
I have a 10 month old lovebird (Flapjack) who has been an only bird from the age of 2 weeks.
I have a new gcc in quarantine at the moment. When it comes time to bring Flappuccino into Jack's room, I'm wondering how to introduce them.
I suppose I'll just wheel Chino into the room and let them be side by side for a while. I'm also wondering about out-of-cage time. I'm worried that who ever is out will always be trying to land on the other's cage and get toes bitten.
Do any of you have lovies and gcc's out at the same time? (Supervised of course)

There's no way to predict how they will feel about it but here's a few tips.After quarantine[good for you] place cages near each other.Try to show the first bird extra attention.Allow them out one at a time to explore.Make the first introduction in a neutral place with lots of toys and treats placed about so they won't have to fight.Watch them closely and have a perch ready in case you need to separate them and don't wish to be bitten.I hope this helps.
