Lonely

Well 5 years ago, I bought two birds, i wasnt really that interested. Named it Paul and Polly, not very creative but heh.

Anyways, a month ago, Paul died. We then bought sevral more birds so it would not be lonely. But none of them have been interacting with eachother and she is now very quiet, unlike before which was VERY loud.

What should i do?

Some birds become hermits when life isn't too great for them. One could try getting them various friends to interact with, however this may not help either....

Getting an exam done first would be a good idea to rule out any medical problems, but beyond that it's hard to say... You could try to make things more enriching, by having an outside cage, various new toys, a large cage, various types of perches, foraging toys, SAFE fresh branches to chew on, among other things too... but then again who knows whether or not any of it will help.
