Question Soft Quaker eggs

Hi everyone....
My Quakers laid 2 eggs and looks like they ate them, whether or not there were more I don't know because I was only checking the box like once a week because I didn't expect them to do anything until next year being new place and they are pretty wild but the 2nd egg they ate I found a peice and it was soft so added calciumboost to the water - what else can I do?
I'd like to take the nest box off but afraid that would tramatize them more because they dive into it whenever someone comes close and stay in it most of the day so not sure what to do there. Also, don't know if they broke the eggs or plain out ate them, it's a reg. square box and I want to get an L shaped box or an apt. box for them - anybody know anybody that makes them?
Any suggestions for these guys would be great.....

On the upside, my gr. cheek conures hatched their first egg today!!!! What a great mother's Day gift!
