new conure owner would like info on care and companion birds

i am a first time new bird owner...black capped conure 6 months of age. am wondering about a bird companion for him. what bird(s) would make a good cage mate/companion for this type of bird? also, any information at all on how to care for this bird is much appreciated. have done some reading on the net of course but there is nothing like experience!
