Question Camacide and bug problem!

Hello everyone,

Okay, so my house is now infested with those annoying weevels and they're EVERYWHERE!!!
It was recommended by a fellow friend of mine who's been working with birds for ages now, that I get a spray called camacide. She said it was harmless to my animals(3 birds and hamster, tons of fish) and safe to spray around them and food.
Well, I went out and got it and after reading all the writing on the bottle, it says that it's extremely toxic to fish and should use caution around animals.
I have these things all over the place, so I really need to spray throughout the house.
Has anyone ever used this stuff and how safe is it really?
Is there something else you guys would recommend?
Please help! I am desperate to get rid of these annoying bugs!!!
Thanks so much
Candice

I believe the issue with the fish would be if it got into the water..since you're fish don't live on your baseboards, you should be fine!

cover the tanks with plastic, including the filters while you are spraying the camicide...if you keep the product LOW to the ground, overspray should be minimal. Will you be spraying this on the outside foundation as well? I use Ortho Home Max outside, with pretty decent results.

Obviously, close up all your food stuffs tightly, and try to avoid spraying/overspraying onto items that will come into contact with your critters....

Thank you for the reply!
It's just inside that's the problem....they were introduced with bird food that I forgot to freeze and they just multiplied! I'll just be spraying the inside as that's where the issues are
I need to spray in the bird room....will I have to remove the birds or is it safe to spray with them in the room and just have the windows open for ventilation?
Thanks again
Candice
