Smokey

Smokey just looked at me lilke I was nuts when I sprayed him with the water bottle! It has the fine mist like the book said to get but he looked at me like I was on something,
I have no clue if he liked it or not.
Any Ideas?
Cindy and Smokey

LOL! I get that same reaction from my fids, too. Since Smokey is baby he's probably not used to it. You just need to keep working at it. He'll eventually get used to it. If he doesn't get to liking it, he should at least put up with it. You can also try putting a bowl on the bottom of the cage to see if he likes a bath better. I shower with my fids. They aren't too keen on it but they dont have a choice. Just takes time. Dont give up.

Talking

Well here is a funny for ya !!! He learned something last night!
I was sitting and whistleing at him and I kept sayin to him can you sexy whistle? well now every time I come into the livingroom where he is all I have to do is sexy whistle and he'll do it. Candy He bit Robert last night.
He does't like H.E. my step son and he likes to irritate shadow my dog.
He has realy developed a little personality of his own the past couple of days.
Which is fine but that look he gave me last night about that water bottle was priceless.

Sounds like Smokey is starting to feel right at home You can try a few different ideas for bathing to see what he prefers. Lulu hated the water bottle, thought a shallow dish with water was ok but not great, and then I realized that she liked the sprayer on the kitchen sink. Now she takes Big Girl showers with us on her own shower perch
