Yes they can have pomegranates. And yes you spelled it correctly!!!!!
I've given it to my Greys, both as a chunk where they pull out the seeds, and just the seeds mixed in with their other soft food. It's very healthy for them too!

I've discovered that giving it to a U2 means your beautiful all white bird may have red spots around it's neck until they shed them as it appears to stain feathers too.... :( Doesn't seem that a bath helped do much other than spread it futher down the neck feathers.

Yep--makes a lutino ringie or tiel look like they were doing a walk on in a slasher movie too. Fortunately, I had already panicked at someone else's red feet, so did not have a melt down when I got to that part of the flock the first time they had them!
