Question Weird Noises!!

Hey,
I just have a quick question..

My Cockatiel is male, and about nearly 2 years old, and i have been really busy with work lately and havnt had alot of time to play with him. But last night i had him out, and he was really content and was having a good time.
But every now and then he would make like a humming/vibrating sound. its was just a quick soft little sound.

Does anyone know why he is making this sound?? I dont think its anything serious.

Thank you for your help..

Nikki

If its a male he is most probably imitating something he hears allot. Listen around the house, A refrigerator? Water cooler? Furnace? your phone on vibrate?? LOL, My greys will make a weird soft sound (and loud ones too) but it may be something real weird - like the one does this strange nasel kinda wheeze. I couldnt figure out what it was and i was afraid he had something wrong with him. Then One day I found it! One of our dogs got kicked in the face by a horse long ago, he suffered a minor injury to his upper lip and nose to which now when he is quiet and content (almost asleep) he wheezes the same soft sound but you only notice it when its real quiet. Its what the bird is doing now. Of course he also snores, belches, sneezes and blows his nose, and a little fart or two no thanks to my husband, lol
