Making a cage?

I am wondering if anyone here has made a cage for a bird? I have scooter in the puny little thing, And I need to get a much bigger cage, But I cant seem to find any! So, I am wondering if anyone knows how?
If so, I would need to have pictures, Supplies needed, and sizes etc.
Thanks! I need him out of there!

It depends on the type of cage that you plan on building. If you have a bird that loves to chew on wood, a wooden cage wouldn't be ideal. You could go with a steel cage made of wire, hooked together by clasps or having the metal corners.

I have yet to build my own cage (well, rather aviary) and as much as I've done researching on the different aviaries, I think it best to let someone else to get more into the details for ya. Might help if they knew what type of bird you have (budgie), and the size possible or what size you are looking to build???
