GGC laying eggs

Is it best to remove eggs or leave them alone? I've tried both ways and don't know which is best. Either way she always seems to end up with 3-4 eggs. She wants to be covered all the time. I try to uncover her a couple hours at a time so she will eat. Should she be covered this much or what ?
