coconut?
Hey guys i have a question for ya ? I just bought a coconut and broke it open , now my questtion is can birds eat coconut and can i give the shell as a chew toy for birds? i would really like to know asap:)

MMMMMMM Coconut...I love coconut lol :icon_mrgr ! Yes, coconut/the coconut shell can be given to your fid. In proportion though(the coconut that is)... as coconut is EXTREMELY fattening. When cutting the coconut in half, I'd bake it in the oven on a low temperature as to dry it out. When I buy coconuts, I knife out the flesh and use the shells as toys. I wash/disenfect the shells, and thenn my tiels enjoy plucking the husk for hours!
