Hi........Important to know whether just the shell is cracked or the membrane too? Since ya probably can't tell that for sure, here is what ya can do: The damaged/cracked areas have to be cleaned up with distilled water and a sterile pad or tissue as bacteria can kill the embryo if it gets inside....Parafin wax (great choice), nail polish, non-toxic "school" glue, pieces of gauze or tissue or pieces of eggshells from other infertile eggs can be used for repairs.........If just hairline cracks use Elmer's Glue or similar non-toxic school glue and it will need several coats, about 30 minutes between each coat. If the eggs have dents, same procedure, filling with 2-3 layers of glue. If damage is to the air cell area then monitor the egg(s) closely during incubation and especially at pipping time. If you use a piece of eggshell for repair, disinfect the piece first in a solution of 20cc Novassan & 1 gallon water......If the damage is worse where you see escaping blood or albumen, then I can get ya more info. on that....Hopefully it is just hairline cracks and/or dents?....Good luck....
