Anything new for feather pulling?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this post...

If you mean why they pluck feathers??? Owner is stressed, stressed bird, boredom, poor diet, stressfull environment, lack of direct sunshine, etc...

Or if you mean anything for them to do to stop them plucking??? Wooden toys or the acrylic for the birds who like to play and not chew, lots of toys, healthy diet, lots of sunshine, moving to a quiet room, etc...

?

Hi' I have two Goffins that do this and I found it was only in the Winter, our Vet suggested adding a Humidifier. We did its positioned between their two cages. As long as its running they are fine but if it runs out of water they start again. I know this is painful to watch and even more painful if you try to pet them. Hope this helps. Joan
