why?

o.k. I have 5 birds as you all know 3 males & 2 females i think that birds are weird when it comes to bonding when I had kiwi & sky they bonded just fine when I got sunshine & added him into the mix the girls fought over him so I had to remove sky than kiwi & sunshine bonded than I got willow for sky thinking she needed a friend they never bonded at all they did not fight but they wern't lovie dovie to each other either.
when I put the 4 in one cage the girls bonded to one another again & willow & sunshine bonded to each other & this is how it is to this day
rainbow has the hots for kiwi & she will accecpt his jesters but nothing ever happens as for mating
why is this I thought if you had boys & girls they would bond to the other ont the same I need another young girl

Arrow Oh, I had that...

When I accidentally got a male friend (Tludgy) for my male budgie (Amaz), they got along great... After Amaz died, though, I took a couple of months to get Tludgy tame and then got Tludgy a girlfriend, who he has... Never really bonded to...

I had to take all his mirrors out before he'd pay any attention to her, and even then he spent months of just strutting about being big bird of the cage.

They'll flirt now, but then; Tludgy will still flirt with Parsnip (my white Zebra finch) when he gets chance, so...

That's why I started to believe that maybe people were right when they called Amaz and Tludgy homosexual (which is possible, so; maybe).

By the bye; why does the three-letter word beginning with "g" and often used to describe people or actions showing a different state of sexual orientation get starred out when I use it?

A while ago before I lost my young male bourke, I have 2 female bourkes, 1 male bourke, and 2 male budgies in the same cage. The two male budgies always flirted with eachother while the blue budgie flirted with the male bourke, fed him, and pestered him so much that the male bourke ended up preening the budgie in return. Now though since the male bourke is gone, that same budgie is now flirting with the females... Can't really explain it though...
