Need Help And Prayers

Hello All
i have a M2 well today he climed onto one of my quakers cage and babygirl bit his toe and he grabed her tho the cage bars i called the vet asap and wanted to rush her in but still have not got a call returned grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
now babygirls feet are blue and she is laying at the bottom of her cage when i pick her up she starts to talk to me now mind you all she has never let me pick her up befor now she is always biteing me only one whom could hold her was david
im crying and so upset her beak looks bad and i wish this vet would call me back
im scared i will wake up and babygirl will be dead please pay for baby girl

Try to keep her warm, so she doesn't go into shock, are there any other vets or anything in the area. Even if it's not avian? If I read correctly the quaker is hurt? Is she still bleeding or has it stopped?

I also asked mod to move this thread to experts so you will get more answers.

Oh No How awful. Like wildirish said keep her warm. Do you have a travel cage or small cage? If you do pad that and put her in it. Put a heating pad on low under half the cage.

What exactly did the Too do to the quaker? Did he just bite her beak or her legs also? Look in the phone book for a emergency vet. Blue legs does not sound good.

My U2 bit my nanday's head and fractured his skull badly, but he pulled through.
A lot of it accounted for me getting him to his vet quickly even though it was after hours. If you think your quaker might have a head injury get help now!
Baby girl is in my prayers. Best of luck to you both! Please let us know what happens.

I am Hoping you got to the vet quickly ..I would not have waited for his call but gone straight to the office /hospital (if it were open)..Like the others have said keep her warm she will no doubt be in shock and that can kill alone even without any other physical injuries...Praying for your Babygirl..

I am so happy to say I saw a message on TBH and Karlenes Baby girl is doing o.k after a trip to the vets ..just though people might like to know...I feel a lot better now I was so worried....GoodNight from Oz..

Thanks so much for posting this, Majj. I've had babygirl on my mind and wondering how she was doing. This is good news to wake up too.
