Question Wheatgrass

Hi,
Bindy absolutely loves wheatgrass. But, she doesn't eat the grass. She eats the wheat part that is growing down by the dirt. She occasionally may get a tiny bit of dirt. Is it okay to let her eat it this way, or should I only clip it off and give it to her. I bought the wheatgrass from Wholefoods.
Thanks,
Stacey

wheatgrass

Recently I read about serving the wheatgrass after cutting and also sprouting it. She may enjoy the sprouts since she is digging into the soil to get the actual piece of wheat.
