Question using tape recorder

My parakeet is silent most of the time, including when I frequently repeat the phrase"talk to me" over and over. HOWEVER, when I play a tape I made of me repeating the phrase, she will now chirp almost continuously through the tape. How do I wean her off of the tape? I am gone a lot and always set the tape before I leave the house. It runs for half an hour.
She also gets very excited when she hears a tape of steel drum music!
