baby lovebird lost apetite....

Hi all,
for 10 days now I handfeed a baby lovebird.I did not have previous experience with it but i take all measures in order to do it right.Things were going just fine until 2-3 days ago ,when the baby has started losing its apetite for food and it eats less than he used to.I know that he is supposed to eat more as it grows up.Is there any case that i should decrease the daily feedings to 3?Can it get bored of the syringe ,so it does not want it anymore? It is about 35 days old.Should i introduce some dry food to it?
His behaviour though ,remains the same.Much sleep and when i take him out of his warm place ,likes to go around.
Any advice is welcome ,cause i am starting getting afraid.

Well, I have handfed other babies but not lovebirds. I will start out saying that this baby should not be sleeping a lot. Should be active. I would get it in to an Avian Vet as soon as you can. A lot can go wrong when handfeeding if not experienced.

I have read that they should be introduced to other food at around 21 days of age. Corn, carrots, brown rice, etc.. Chopped to bite size. Millet too. The formula should be heated to 103-105 degrees. Cold formula they won't eat it, Too hot & you will burn its crop. Anyway, Have it checked by a vet soon. Babies go down fast.
