Help with introducing new caique to each other

Hello all and thanks in advance for your advice. We have a bonded pair of 1 year old caiques - very sweet and friendly that live in one large cage together (although they are out and about most of the time). We got a call from a bird rescue place and they have a 1 year old female, no health or behaviour issues, that needs fostering/adoption as the owner passed away. I wanted to ask for advice on how to go about introducing the three birds to each other. Also, how would I know whether it would be suitable for all three to be in the same cage?

I wouldn't put another caique in the same cage as your bonded pair- that would just be asking for trouble.

After quarantine, introduce the birds slowly. Let them just get used to the look of each other, and introduce them in neutral territory- ie, the floor of the bathroom, versus the playstand that the other birds have already claimed as 'theirs'. Let the birds tell you how much and how fast to push a new relationship.
