can someone help me?
Hello-
I have just joined this site, and wondered if someone can help me? You probably won't believe this, but I have a neighbor who is killing all birds that go in his yard, except purple martins. He thinks he owns the martins... anyway, I spend a lot of time attracting birds to my yard, flowers, feeders, birdbaths, and I have had the honor of hosting a pair of great crested flycatchers in my birdhouses for the 2nd year in a row. I personally feel what he is doing is insanity, and it wouldn't do any good to talk to him about this. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, sogapeach |

I'm trying
Thank you for your response. I tried to call our local animal shelter today, but they were closed. I'm going to call again, and if there is nothing they can do, I'll find out who they recommend I talk to. Surely this is against the law or something?

I would venture to say that killing ANY animal in any state of the union is illegal, immoral and unethical.
This isn't a case of humane animal slaughter for food (I know that's an oximoron) but plain and simple animal cruelty. In many states, that could actually land his ass in the state pen. THE OUTLAW
