"Enriched seeds" aren't necessarily any better than regular untreated seeds. Amazons need a diet high in vitamin A, low in fat and protein. Therefore, fatty seeds should be kept to a minimum, and provide a variety of healthy veggies, including those with vitamin A. You can also supplement the diet with Red Palm Oil. A fresh food diet is recommend of being approx 15% pulses, 30% grains, 45% veggies, and 10% fruits. With an amazon, you may want to decrease the pulses and grains a little and add in more veggies.
Bird Safe Fresh Foods & Toxic Food Lists + Sprouts Cereals may not be healthy for her due to sugars, protein, and other things made for humans. Birds should have 7-20% protein, depending on age, species, and health. For healthy adults, usually 11-15% protein is recommended. Eggs are also high in protein and calcium so should be kept to moderation. I hope she makes a full recovery and your able to get a full CBC done on her!
