I cant believe what i heard from oscar!!!how on earth can you love birds and then come in here saying she did the right thing?... omg!!!

Shosh said everything everyone is thinking, i agree 100%.
I cant understand how some people can become so low.
If you wanted a bird so bad, get in contact with a rescue organization or search the papers where people dont have the time for theyre birds and are giving them away for free... instead of taking away a loved one :(

I hope the man's brother/father/mother/sister finds out and gives you a mouthfull, as well as get theyre bird back.

This is a very unfortunate situation.
I am guessing this person did not contact anyone about the bird and it sounds more on the lines of being stolen without any local authorities present.

I have never known any type of animal control to come out and hand an animal over right on the spot like that. They normally go in, check on the situation, than give the owner so many days to fix the problem if there is any, and it has to be a very bad situation like under weight, no food, no water, improper housing, and normally up to a week is allowed to fix the situation before anything else is done.

Too bad this board cannot turn over the names of people to authorities for actions like this. (I understand the privacy though)

I feel sorry for the person the bird was taken from. Losing a pet is like losing a family member or a best friend.
